Who is Travel Trust Association?

The Travel Trust Association is a travel trade association. Our members consist of Travel Agents, Tour Operators and Travel Organizers.

The Travel Trust Association exists in order to protect you, the customer, with 100 percent financial protection and has been doing so for over fifteen years. This means that every penny that you pay to our members is protected by the Travel Trust Association.

How does Travel Trust Association provide 100% financial protection for me?

Every Travel Trust Association member deposits your money into the Trust Account. A Trust Account is a bank account designated to hold the customers' money.
Your money remains in the Trust Account and is supervised by an appointed Trustee who is either a banker, chartered or certified accountant or a solicitor. Both the Travel Trust Association members AND the Trustee are required to authorize payments from the Trust Account.

In addition to being held in trust, you also have a financial guarantee from the Travel Trust Association.

TTA will guarantee the financial obligation of its Members up to a maximum any one passenger of £11,000. So if you paid £2000 we guarantee we will reimburse the loss of the £2000, where it is not available for you from the Trust Account.

Therefore, the Trust Account plus the guarantee will ensure that all the money which you have paid is safely protected and available to reimburse the money paid. When you make a booking, you will be supplied with a guarantee certificate – you can see the terms of our guarantee on our website www.traveltrust.co.uk/guarantee.

Should the TTA member become insolvent, in most instances your money will still be held within the TTA member's Trust Account by the designated Trustee, and available to pay for your holiday. If because of fraud or dishonesty the money is not there, then the guarantee is available to reimburse your loss. In some cases your holiday may continue as the providers or suppliers have already been paid. Where you have only paid a deposit and still have an outstanding balance, your holiday may be unaffected and by paying the balance your holiday will continue as planned. Where possible, attempts will be made to ensure that you can carry on with your original holiday arrangements.

What should be check-in time before departure?

It is always better to be present at the airport before time. In order to avoid last minute rush it would be better if you go two or three hours earlier. Remember that if you are taking an international flight then you will have to be at airport at least three hours before the actual time of the flight. If it is a European destination then you can reach the airport two hours earlier. And finally, if you are taking a domestic flight then be at the airport at least one hour before your actual time of the flight.

Do I have the option to cancel my flight and receive my money back?

In some cases you can hope to receive your money. If it is a cheap flight ticket then money will not be refunded. You will lose your complete money. Some tickets can be changeable or non changeable. Often, you can get your money back if you cancel your flight but for the same you will have to pay some fixed amount. Sometimes you can even have the option to rebook your flight.

How will I know of the offers on traveling packages by you?

Do you provide only flight booking services or are there are other services provided by you?

We provide not only flight booking services but also provide car hire services and hotel booking services. You can trust us for all your holiday requirements.

Can I take only hotel booking services from you?

Yes, you can. And we are confident that you will love to take flight booking services from us, next time you decide to go anywhere for your holidays.

How shall I make the payment?

You can have the option to make the payment online and offline. You can make online payment by your credit card (VisaCard / MasterCard / Debit Card). You can send us a check or transfer the money into our account or can even choose to pay us cash.

Can you tell me something about waiver scheme?

To travel under waiver scheme you will have to apply for ESTA which stands for Electronic System for Travel Authorization. It is necessary for UK travelers having UK passport. It can be necessary for the travelers from other countries too. (To know more about ESTA call our executive, he will guide you or send us an email. We would love to reply to your queries).

Do you have any terms and conditions?

Yes, we have. Please, read our terms and conditions before you book your ticket with us.

What information do you usually take from your customers?

We would like you to give us all the information related to your residence / telephone number / your credit card details and information related to traveling. (Please read our privacy policy. We respect your privacy).

What do you mean by E-Ticket?

E-Ticket is an Electronic Ticket. In place of a paper ticket you can receive an E-Ticket. There are various advantages of it. You will not have to wait in a queue to receive the ticked issued to you. It is arrived earlier as well. There is no possibility of even getting it lost as it is an E-Ticket.

When can I expect to receive my ticket after booking my flight with you?

Well, it depends. The time period differs from flight to flight. If you have booked charter flight then you can expect to get a ticket approximately a week or ten days before departure date. In some cases your ticket is even emailed to you on your given email ID.

What course of action do you recommend on getting an incorrect ticket?

It never can happen but if you receive an incorrect ticket then please call our customer care executive or please email us we will get back to you in a shorter period of time possible.

Does Check Baggage Policy differ from country to country?

Yes, Check Baggage Policy may differ from country to country and airline to airline.

What is your refund policy?

We have an easy-to-understand refund policy. Refunds will be paid only if they are received form the respective airlines. The whole process may take eight to ten weeks. In case of a ticket being lost, the period can be eight to nine months.

Will my traveling destinations have any visa restrictions?

There can be. For instance: There should be a gap of two months between your visits to a country like India. You will have to take official permission. It is always better to know of the possible restrictions before going anywhere as in some cases you will not be allowed or your entry is restricted.
